I’ve listen to of this a single olive oil therapy. Buy some olive oil. Place some on your fingers and rub it in each inch of your scalp. Keep your head upside down (hair hanging in excess of face) for 4 minutes. Just take a shower and use shampoo only to get oil out. Repeat every day for about a 7 days. It’s supposed to get the useless pores and skin out of your scalp, hence producing your hair increase about three inches in only a 7 days!

  1. I was told once that hair grows faster in the summer. I don’t know why that is. get outside more. I know that probably wont help much but…

  2. Sur La Mer

Another reason why I seldom visit the salon, once I asked them to cut 4″ off, I have them re-cut because they were choppy, and by the time they were finished 1 1/2 hrs. later, they’ve cut off 9″. Mom & son could do it in less than 5 mins, but they’re even!

I was one, and had long hair when I weighed 85 lbs.

Babies can do that, by drinking their milk. . . . so can you, so can any of us without any help. From your: good genes, good hair care and all the healthy foods from Mother Nature, that’s where you get all your vitamins & minerals for growing from head to toes. If you’ve straightened your hair in the past, it may grow slowly or none at all.

NO MATTER which link you picked, they all suggest the same foods. Your hair may be the fastest-growing tissue in the body but, unlike the skin, it cannot repair itself. That is why getting the right balance of vitamins and proteins is imperative. Don’t expect to look like you’ve stepped out of a hair commercial the day after you’ve changed your diet. It is likely to take at least three months before you actually see tangible results. Hair is dead, but hair also has electrical energy; the negative charge of damaged hair can lead to flyways and unruly hair.

Growing healthy hair doesn’t come from a bottle or pills and hair products do not speed hair growth. Any hair oil, is another form to keep hair moisturized, nothing more. If you’re in HS, your hair & nails should be growing normally, and as healthily as possible, since you’re eating healthy foods. But when hair isn’t growing as fast, it’s because they’ve been tampered with: chemicals, hair straightening, etc. . .

Cutting your split ends yourself, spend 5-10 mins. on a sunny day so you can easily spot them, using a 2″ scissors, cut strand by strand, section by section, allowing new growth to take over. Then 2x a year, get a good hair cut. This won’t speed things up, but it will make the hair look healthier while it’s growing. Even healthy hair like mine get them, due to normal brushing & styling. Hormonal changes can have a big effect on hair.

  3. Well you can do lots of things but remember the same things don’t work for everyone. Eat protein since hair is made from it, massage your scalp every night and drink enough water a day. You can take vitamin E supplements for healthy skin, hair and nails. Some people take Biotin and that seems to help. Try using avocado and banana hair masks once a week, that made my hair grow. I also use a product called pro naturals moroccan argan oil after each shower and it helps a lot. It’s a heat protectant too. You can get some online. Oh and get trims, just little ones at a time a few months apart so you don’t get split ends that’ll stop the hair from growing.

  4. if you use olive oil on your scalp or any other oil it could become very, very oily! (had that happen) i recommend only putting it on the ends of your hair 15 to 20 minutes before you get into the shower, shapoo but DON’T condition, finish with a cool rinse. the cool water will close the hair cuticles and lock in the moisture. also not using heat on your will make it grow, but when you do use heat you should use a heat protectant and finish with a cool blast from a blow dryer.

i have heard that if you drink a lot of water this will help your hair grow. never tried it but heard it works great.
