There is no this kind of point as hair-stimulating merchandise. When washing your hair with normal shampoo, scrub at the roots. Ahead of you go to bed, commence at the root and brush down. Oil comes from your scalp, not your hair. Relocating the oil along aids produce much more hair development.

My girlfriend crushes prenatal vitamins and puts it in her shampoo. Then u rub it into ur hair for 3 mins, this stimulates hair growth. Also makes ur hair shiny and stronger

take biotin vitamin along with a multi vitamin daily
massage your scalp 3 minutes when you shampoo or condition your hair in the shower
don’t straighten or use heat on it (if you do use a heat protectant)
    use a weekly conditioning treatment
    eat healthy
put your hair in braids when you go to sleep

The answer is, hair continues to grow at the same rate, even when we die, so there is no safe way of making it grow faster or slower, but to be patient and wait the length desired. There are many ways in which you could experiment to see what you look like with longer hair while you are waiting- you can find free software on the internet to add hair to photos of yourself (facebook has some free apps which do this) or you could even go to a store specialising in toupées and ask if they’ll let you try on a wig in a similar hair colour. The upside of long hair, you can do more with it, the downside, it will cost you a lot more in time and money to keep it clean and tidy!

Shampoos are meant for cleaning hair, eating is for growing and you can’t speed up time, nor can you speed ‘perfection.’ “If you have no patience, you have no right growing long hair.” ~ Hair expert of the 80’s.

Save your money instead of buying hair growth products or supplements. Vogue Dec. 2010, Vogue Feb. 2011 issue has a section on biotin, supplements, fish oil, etc. . Fish oil for example: Read the labels if they state that it contains: “one or more of the following: Cod, English Whiting, Shark.”

The FDA don’t even approve of them. Because of inadequate quality control and inspection, supplements contaminated with heavy metals, pesticides, or prescription drugs have been sold to unsuspecting consumers. And FDA rules covering manufacturing quality don’t apply to the companies that supply herbs, vitamins, and other raw ingredients.
Beginning in February 2008, they experienced one symptom after another: diarrhea, joint pain, hair loss, lung problems, and fingernails and toenails that fell off. FDA has received numerous reports of harm associated with the use of these products, including stroke, liver injury, kidney failure, heart palpitations, and death. 3-15-11

Google: MSN “Vitamins Can Do More Harm Than Good.”
According Dr. Melissa Piliang, a dermatologist at the Cleveland Clinic. Americans spent an estimated $ 176 million on hair loss products last year, and chances are some of that money was not well spent. Don’t let charming salon owners, seductive ads or fancy gimmicks convince you otherwise.

CNN, Slate, Consumer Reports, MSN, YAHOO have posted them online for years how people spend $ 20 billion per year on vitamins and supplements.  According to Everyday Health, here’s an article that will tell you why . . . those PRODUCTS by any other name do NOT WORK.  It is false advertisements. Google: Are Supplements Good For You? About 7,430,000 results (0.15 seconds). THEN Google: Are vitamins & supplements good for you? About 4,250,000 results (0.14 seconds) Some can actually shorten your life!
Google: Hair growth caused other men nationwide in class-action lawsuits. About 1,640,000 results (0.10 second.

Best advice from Hollywood’s well known hairstylist in the 80’s once said: “Keep foods in your mouth and hair products on your hair.”

If you’ve straightened your hair in the past, it may grow slowly or none at all.
Google: “Foods for Healthy Hair” – Your hair may be the fastest-growing tissue in the body but, unlike the skin, it cannot repair itself. That is why getting the right balance of vitamins and proteins is imperative. Don’t expect to look like you’ve stepped out of a hair commercial the day after you’ve changed your diet. It is likely to take at least three months before you actually see tangible results.

Growing healthy hair doesn’t come from a bottle or pills and hair products do not speed hair growth. Any hair oil, is another form to keep hair moisturized, nothing more. If you’re in HS, your hair & nails should be growing normally, and as healthily as possible, since you’re eating healthy foods. But when hair isn’t growing as fast, it’s because they’ve been tempered with: chemicals, hair straightening, etc. . .

Cutting your split ends yourself, spend 5-10 mins. on a sunny day so you can easily spot them, using a 2″ scissors, cut strand by strand, section by section, allowing new growth to take over. Then 2x a year, get a good hair cut. This won’t speed things up, but it will make the hair look healthier while it’s growing. Even healthy hair like mine get them, due to normal brushing & styling.

Best answer comes from people with Avatars, showing their healthy shiny, soft, silky, smooth hair.

I know hair. I have over 4 decades of hair know-how. I have silky, shiny, soft, smooth very healthy hair down to my knees, started growing them in 2003. Previously damaged by perming & dyeing in the 80’s & 90’s. I’ve known people in their 30’s whose hair stopped growing from ironing their hair in the 70’s. When I was in HS, my hair grew from bob to waist length in 3 1/2 to 4 years, and cut 2x a year.

“Fastly” isn’t a word, lol. But you should make sure you take your vitamins, eat healthy, exercise, detangle properly, and condition, condition, condition your hair. Another helpful tip is giving yourself (or receiving) scalp massages to stimulate blood flow and allow your hair to grow faster.
Also, if you can, you should do a protective style. Like twists or something. The more you leave your hair alone, the more it will grow. Nothing tight, no weaves, or anything like that. For example, people with dreads’ hair grows very quickly because they just let it grow then twist it. So don’t manipulate your hair as much, is what I’m saying.
    Happy growing! 🙂

    1) make sure it’s healthy. use lots of conditioner, get it trimmed when need be, etc.
    2) massage your scalp. it increases the blood flow and makes your hair grow faster.
    3) get lots of sleep. your hair grows fastest when you’re resting.
    4) eat as much fruit/veg as you can.
    5) drink 8 glasses of water a day.
    6) exercise at least 3 times a week for half an hour. again, it increases the blood flow.
