How to develop hair stronger and lengthier?

Issue by Mani: How to grow hair more powerful and more time?
I consider quite good care of my hair. I wrap it each night time, consider to hold from putting heat in my hair, get my ends clipped, wash it typically and condition and oil my hair when essential. Is there anything at all else I can do due to the fact my hair isn’t increasing at all and retains breaking off. I do not know what else I can do. (I have medium length, African American hair *curly, not coarse*.) Remember to Assist. Thank you.

There is alot of things you can do to make your hair get thicker! First off here are some small helpful tips:

~ stop using heat tools ( straighteners/ curlers etc.)
~ stop putting product in your hair. ALL YOU NEED IS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER!! If you have Brands that say they will make your hair grow, NOPE! Its a scam, all that product is not good for your hair! Nooo product!
~ Stop with the hairspray that kills your hair worse than heat tools!
~ dont wear your hair up much because it causes breakage, which wont stop hair growth but it keeps breaking off and your hair wont grow at all. If you do wear your hair up make sure its not tight!
~ Massage your scalp for three to five minutes per day
~ Massage your scalp when you put in shampoo or conditioner
~ Wash your hair every other day or as less as you posibly can. if your hair doesn get greasy if you dont wash it with shampoo every three nights, dont use shampoo every night!!
~ Condition every night!! NOT SHAMPOO! Your hair needs that extra moisture!
~ try not to brush your hair as much if you do brush your hair upside down ( flip your hair over and then brush roots down.
~ protect your hair with a hat in the summer!
~ braid it at night to get cute waves in the morning! also it stops you from rolling around on your ends all night and killing them ;D
~Also dont cut the ends unless you absolutley have to! Cutting something will not make it longer

    hair masks!

I use an olive oil hair mask everynight! This is what you do: heat up a few tablespoons of olive oil depending on how thick your hair is) Massage the oil into your scalp and leave it in for two or so hours. With a shower cap on, then rinse it out. You can keep this in as long as you would like. But I like two hours. And after you put the oil in your hair flip your hair over for four minutes so it moves the blood to your head and it stimulates the blood flow. DONT DO THE FLIPPY HEAD THING TOO OFTEN YOULL GET DIZZY!

You can also use rosemary oil or coconut oil. DO NOT USE VEGETABLE OIL OR CANOLA OIL.

EAT HEALTHY AND DRINK LOTS OF WATER!

  3. Use eggs and mayonnaise your hair will be long it will also be thick

  4. 1. Remove damaged hair.
    2. Get rid of dead ends/trims often!
    3. Avoid using heat appliances.
    4. Avoid using harsh chemicals on your hair.
    5. Never put your hair in a position/hairstyle where the hair is too tightly pulled/stretched causing damage.
    6. Avoid dying your hair.
    7. Use a wide tooth comb on it when it’s wet. DO NOT yank on it when it’s wet! Be very gentle!
    8. Eat a balanced diet/lots of protein/iron and zinc.
    9. Maintain good general health!
    10. Don’t wash your hair everyday, wash it every other day. This doesn’t mean don’t shower everyday!

You should be using a shampoo and conditioner that is Sulfate & Paraben Free with no harsh chemicals that will not strip your hairs natural oils. Take vitamins and antioxidants b-6, fish oil, biotin, vitamin c, hair skin & nails. Good for skin and hair.

Let me start by stating that there is not a shampoo or conditioner that promotes hair growth unless is it prescribed by a physician and contains either “Rogaine”, “Minoxidil”, “Propecia” or “Nioxion”. The only draw back to using these products is you have to use them for the rest of your life. If you stop you will lose what the product has grown in.
Normally you will lose up to 100 hairs a day; every 30 days or so you will lose more due to replacement, a new follicle is pushing an old one out. The most common reasons for hair loss is ether medication, stress, or illness. If you feel your hair loss is excessive you should see your doctor to make sure it is not caused by the latter.
The only way you can grow healthy hair is to eat a healthy diet high in protein (Hair is composed of “keratin” hard protein) and take prenatal vitamins (If you are an adult woman.) If you are underage or male eat a healthy diet high in protein and take hair and nail vitamins.

I had a client who was pregnant and taking prenatal vitamins and her hair grew twice a fast as normal. It normally takes about 6 to 8 weeks before you start seeing results.
Do not forget to exercise regularly. Not only is it great for you but it will get your blood flowing and feed the follicles fresh nutrients.
Hair usually grows ¼ to ½ inch every 4-6 weeks.

    Shampooing
When you shampoo your hair you should manipulate your scalp vigorously; every other day.
In order to grow healthy hair your scalp needs to be clean; by not shampooing you are defeating your efforts to grow healthy hair. I recommend shampooing every other day using a shampoo for chemically treated hair; even if your hair is not chemically treated. Shampoo that has been formulated for chemically treated hair has less detergent than a shampoo that has been formulated for normal hair. Detergent will remove to many natural oils and cause your hair to be dry.
Shampoo will not make your hair thicker. In order to do this the shampoo would have to create more hair follicles in your scalp; man cannot create a hair follicle.

    Split ends
Also you need to have a trim every 6-8 weeks to prevent split ends. A hair shaft that has a spit end is damaged beyond repair. If you do not have your hair trimmed to get the split end off, it will eat there way up the hair shaft like a “Pac-man” and you will end up with split ends from tips to roots. There is not a shampoo or conditioner that will repair a split end. The only repair for a spit end is to have it cut off. While there are shampoo and conditioners out, that make the claim of repairing split ends all they do is put either a wax or plastic coating over the hair shaft; when the coating wears off the spit is back.

    Thickening
There is not a shampoo or conditioner or any other substance that will make your hair thicker. In order for this to happen the product would have to create a new hair follicles in your scalp. Man cannot create a hair follicle. The only options open to you is either a hair transplantation or extensions.

In closing let me state that trimming/cutting your hair will not make your hair grow. Hair does not grow from the tips like grass; it grows from the roots.

    Hope this helps.

  7. Healthy hair growth starts with good nutrition. Your hair needs certain nutrients to grow properly. This can be achieved by getting enough of the right fats, vitamins, and minerals from your diet, or from dietary supplements. There are also some other supplements that may also be able to help, like saw palmetto, Pygeum Africanum, MSM, and grape seed extract. I like Caribbean Hair Grow. You should talk to your doctor before you do, or take anything, and also do your own research (wikipedia, pubmed, etc.) as well. Hope this helps…
